Fair Play –
Klaus Deventer was one of the founding fathers of the FIDE Anti-Cheating Commission. He has been an active member and part of many Fair Play Panels, as a chair of the IPs, leading many cases and creating fair play rules and regulations. Head of the Fair Play Team at the Chess Olympiad in Baku 2016 and in Batumi 2018 and Fair Play Officer at the Chess Olympiad in Chennai 2022 and the World Women’s Team Championship in Sitges 2021.
